Privacy Policy

This describes what VendPort actually collects and why, based on how the platform is built today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

1. What we collect

Data	Why
Email & password	To create and secure your account (passwords are hashed by our authentication provider, Supabase — VendPort never sees or stores your raw password)
Name & phone number	So we can match Planners with Vendors and enable contact once a match is made
Booking or application details	Event type, date, budget, business details — to process your request
Basic device/browser data	Page visits and app-download events, to understand usage and improve the platform

2. What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data to third parties.
We don't share your phone number or email with a Vendor or Planner until a booking has been reviewed and matched by our team.
We don't run ads or ad-tracking on VendPort.

3. Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, protected by row-level access rules so that only you (and VendPort's admin team, for the purpose of matching and support) can see your own bookings or applications.

4. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@vendport.ng. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

5. Cookies & tracking

VendPort uses only what's needed to keep you logged in securely (managed by Supabase) and basic, non-invasive analytics to track page visits and app downloads. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
